Hungarykum fragrances contain 25 percent perfume oils and 75 percent bio ethyl alcohol, classifying them as extrait de parfum. Our compositions are free from IPM and DPG solvents, ensuring a pure and refined olfactory experience.

IPM (Isopropyl Myristate) and DPG (Dipropylene Glycol) are commonly used, colorless and odorless ingredients in perfumery. While they can extend longevity, they often flatten the fragrance, disrupting the natural evolution of top, heart, and base notes. Hungarykum fragrances feature Hungarian lavender, a plant with deep historical roots. It was used as early as the 1320s in the first modern perfume, known as the Queen of Hungary’s Water. Today, it is rarely cultivated, as English lavender has become more widely favored.
